Potluck and Blessing of the Nativity Creche Service

Potluck

Friday, December 16, we will have a potluck supper at 5:30 PM followed by the Blessing of our Christmas Nativity Creche.

You are invited to bring your Nativity Creche or just the three main figures – Jesus, Mary, Joseph – for a Blessing and Communion after our potluck supper. We would like to leave them in the Church until the following Sunday.In this time of recovering from Hurricane Ian, some of our Church Family lost everything, including their Nativity set. If you have an extra set that you would like to give to someone; or, if you feel inclined to purchase a small set for someone, please bring them to the Nativity Creche Blessing.

Everyone is invited whether or not you have a Nativity Creche.

Troy Messner, French Horn

Join us on Christmas Eve as we celebrate the birth of Jesus with reading the Christmas story as found in various scripture passages. We will sing many of the old familiar Christmas Carols and hear some new songs! We will be joined by special musical guest Troy Messner who plays the French Horn! Our choir will be singing and the drumming group will be drumming. Rev. Rick will share a special reading from the perspective of the angels Gabriel and Michael as they watch the events of that holy night from above! It’s a wonderful light-hearted reading you won’t want to miss!
